Venison Haunch Joint

This joint has been boned and rolled by our butchers from the haunch of local wild fallow deer sustainably sourced from Keythorpe Game in Rutland.

This succulent and tender lean venison joint is a wild alternative to a beef fillet.

Sizes Available:

1kg, serves 2-3 people / 2kg, serves 4-6 people / 3kg, serves 7-8 people

Cooking Instructions: 

Preheat oven to 180C and allow the joint to come up to room temperature. 

Generously season and roast cook the venison in a roasting dish approximately 30 minutes per kg.

Rest at room temperature for at least half of the total cooking time.
